WOVEN HOLLOW — bio / music / video
The first time the two of us played music together, it was clear that we wouldn’t ever be able to stop. Creative inspiration seems to settle into the valleys hidden away beneath the towering Rocky Mountains where we live. It’s as if we have no choice but to absorb it and release it in the form of music. After playing together for a few months – writing songs, finding our sound, and weaving our music talents together – the fall of 2018 found us calling ourselves an “official” band. Woven Hollow is the name we carefully landed on. Our folk, classical, and rock n’ roll roots grow from the valleys into a combination of sounds that echo in the moonlit peaks. Dark and haunting are a couple words that have been used to describe some of this young music of ours, but we certainly know how to mix in some fun, light-hearted songs as well. We recently finished our first tour, which started in Boulder, Colorado, and finished a month later in Paris, Illinois.
We’ve recorded a few songs. Take a listen!
Plus, we have some video!
